This Website Disclosures and Image-Use Notice applies to the websites operated by Northstar Construction, including:

In this Notice, “Northstar,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Northstar Construction. “Website” refers collectively to the websites listed above and all related pages, forms, photographs, videos, graphics, renderings, advertisements, and other materials.

This Notice supplements our Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If this Notice conflicts with a written construction agreement signed by Northstar and a customer, the signed construction agreement controls regarding the services addressed by that agreement.

1. Third-Party Financing and Payment Options

Northstar may make financing or flexible payment options available for certain qualifying projects through independent third-party financing or payment-service providers. These options are offered solely as a convenience to help customers explore ways to pay for their projects that may be more flexible or suitable for their circumstances.

Northstar is not a bank, lender, creditor, loan broker, loan servicer, financial adviser, or guarantor. Northstar does not make credit-approval, underwriting, interest-rate, credit-limit, loan-term, fee, repayment, servicing, collection, or credit-reporting decisions.

Third-party financing and payment providers are independently owned, operated, and controlled. They are not owned or controlled by Northstar, and Northstar does not own or control them. Unless expressly disclosed in writing, no partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary relationship, or common ownership exists between Northstar and any financing or payment provider.

Any financing, loan, credit, installment-payment, deferred-payment, or other payment-option agreement is strictly between the customer and the applicable third-party provider. Northstar is not a party to that agreement, even when Northstar:

• Provides information about a financing option;
• Supplies a link or application portal;
• Assists the customer in locating the provider’s application;
• Transmits project information at the customer’s direction;
• Confirms the price or scope of a proposed project;
• Receives payment directly from the provider; or
• Communicates with the provider regarding the project’s status.

The third-party provider is solely responsible for its application process, eligibility standards, approvals, denials, rates, fees, disclosures, repayment terms, account servicing, payment processing, credit reporting, collection practices, privacy practices, cybersecurity, customer service, and compliance obligations.

Northstar does not guarantee that a customer will:

• Qualify for financing;
• Receive a particular credit limit;
• Receive a particular interest rate or payment amount;
• Receive approval within a particular time;
• Receive any promotional rate or deferred-interest offer;
• Avoid fees, penalties, or credit consequences; or
• Receive terms that are more favorable than other available options.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all financing documents before signing. Questions concerning rates, fees, payment schedules, promotional periods, deferred interest, prepayment, late payments, credit reporting, security interests, liens, cancellation rights, or account servicing must be directed to the third-party provider.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northstar is not responsible or liable for any act, omission, error, mistake, delay, denial, misrepresentation, system failure, data breach, unauthorized transaction, credit-reporting issue, servicing dispute, collection activity, or other conduct of a third-party financing or payment provider.

The availability of financing or a payment option does not constitute Northstar’s endorsement or recommendation of the provider or its terms. Customers may seek financing from another provider or use another lawful payment method acceptable under the applicable Northstar construction agreement.

The financing agreement and the Northstar construction agreement are separate agreements. A financing dispute does not automatically suspend, cancel, or modify the customer’s obligations under the construction agreement unless Northstar agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.

Financing is subject to the provider’s approval, terms, conditions, and availability. Financing options may be changed, restricted, or discontinued without notice.

2. General Informational Disclosure

The information appearing on the Website is provided for general informational, educational, inspirational, and promotional purposes.

Website content does not constitute:

• A binding construction estimate;
• A contractual offer;
• A promise to accept or perform a project;
• Architectural or engineering advice;
• Legal, tax, insurance, accounting, or financial advice;
• A warranty or guarantee;
• A representation that a design is appropriate for a particular property; or
• A substitute for an onsite inspection and project-specific evaluation.

Every property and remodeling project is different. Requirements, costs, schedules, and results may depend on existing conditions, structural components, building codes, permits, inspections, customer selections, material availability, weather, concealed conditions, utility issues, and other circumstances.

Visitors should not make construction, purchasing, financial, legal, safety, or property decisions based solely on Website content.

3. No Construction Agreement Created Through Website Use

Browsing the Website, submitting a form, requesting a consultation, calling Northstar, sending an email or text message, or discussing a possible project does not create a construction contract or obligate Northstar to perform work, except where stated otherwise.

Construction, remodeling, roofing, repair, room-addition, or related services begin only after the applicable parties enter into a separate written proposal or contract authorized by Northstar.

Only an authorized written agreement, proposal, change order, warranty, or other project document creates binding construction obligations.

4. Portfolio and Website Images

Northstar uses photographs, videos, renderings, diagrams, illustrations, and other visual materials to illustrate services, communicate design possibilities, and help homeowners become inspired.

Website images may include:

• Projects completed by Northstar;
• Projects in progress;
• Before-and-after photographs;
• Customer-provided images;
• Manufacturer or supplier images;
• Licensed stock photography;
• Staged or professionally styled spaces;
• Conceptual renderings;
• Three-dimensional or computer-generated images;
• Composite images created from multiple sources;
• Digitally edited photographs; and
• Images enhanced, modified, or generated through artificial intelligence.

Not every image on the Website depicts work performed by Northstar. Unless an image is specifically identified as an actual Northstar project, visitors should not assume that the depicted design, property, construction, or installation was completed by Northstar.

5. Artificial-Intelligence Image Disclosure

Some Website images have been enhanced, modified, composited, reconstructed, or created in whole or in part using artificial-intelligence technology.

AI-assisted changes may include:

• Adjusting brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, or resolution;
• Correcting lighting, shadows, perspective, or distortion;
• Removing personal belongings, debris, vehicles, people, or distractions;
• Replacing skies or adjusting weather conditions;

AI-enhanced and AI-generated images may not precisely represent:

• Code or permitting requirements;
• Available materials;
• Final pricing;
• Final workmanship; or
• The completed appearance of a project.

These images are intended to communicate design ideas and possibilities. They are not construction plans, specifications, warranties, product representations, or guarantees of results.

6. Image Descriptions and Labels

Northstar may use the following descriptions:

Actual Northstar Project

The image depicts a project performed by Northstar. Ordinary photographic adjustments, including cropping, straightening, lighting correction, or color balancing, may have been made.

AI-Enhanced Northstar Project Photograph

The image began as a photograph of an actual Northstar project or property but was modified or enhanced through artificial-intelligence or digital-editing tools.

Conceptual Rendering

The image illustrates a possible design, layout, finish, material selection, or completed appearance. It may not depict an existing or completed space.

AI-Generated Design Concept

The image was created substantially or entirely through artificial-intelligence technology and is provided for inspiration only. It does not depict a completed Northstar project.

Stock or Representative Image

The image is licensed or representative material used to illustrate a service, product, or design style and does not necessarily depict work performed by Northstar.

The absence of a label does not necessarily mean that an image is unedited or depicts work completed by Northstar.

7. Before-and-After Images

Before-and-after photographs may be taken under different:

• Lighting conditions;
• Weather conditions;
• Camera positions;
• Camera lenses;
• Times of day;
• Staging arrangements; or
• Furniture and decorating conditions.

Images may also be cropped, straightened, color-corrected, cleaned up, or otherwise edited for presentation.

These differences may affect how a space appears. Before-and-after images illustrate a transformation but do not promise that another property will produce identical results.

When an “after” image is a conceptual rendering rather than a photograph of completed work, Northstar may identify it as a rendering or design concept.

8. Renderings, Plans, and Design Concepts

Floor plans, elevations, sketches, diagrams, measurements, renderings, and design concepts appearing on the Website are illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise.

They may not:

• Be drawn to scale;
• Reflect verified field measurements;
• Include every structural component;
• Account for plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or utility conditions;
• Satisfy permitting requirements;
• Reflect final customer selections;

Individual experiences vary. A testimonial does not guarantee that another customer will receive an identical experience or result.

Northstar may correct spelling, punctuation, or grammar or shorten a testimonial for space and readability, provided its substantive meaning is not intentionally changed.

Some reviews may appear through independent third-party platforms that Northstar does not control.

16. Awards, Ratings, and Affiliations

References to awards, certifications, memberships, ratings, directories, or professional affiliations are accurate only as of the time they are posted.

Such references do not necessarily constitute an endorsement of Northstar and do not guarantee the outcome of a project.

Visitors may independently verify the current status and meaning of any award, credential, rating, or membership.

21. Intellectual Property

Website photographs, text, graphics, renderings, videos, logos, layouts, designs, software, and code may be owned by Northstar or licensed from another party.
